At Fix24 Building Solutions our Occupational Health, Safety Policy is based on a belief that people are our most important asset and their health and safety is our greatest responsibility.
Fix24 is CM3 qualified. CM3 assists Fix24 to demonstrate and promote its health and safety capabilities. Our clients have confidence that our OHS Management System has been reviewed by qualified, independent OHS specialists and provides them with a clear understanding of our occupational health and safety compliance.
We are committed to promoting and activating at all times, care and responsibility for staff, clientele, the general public and environment on every site. Conforming to Australian Standards, our team are well versed on all safety issues, actively partake in all organisational training incentives and continue to maintain high levels of best practice at all times to safeguard themselves, on-site staff and the surrounding environment.
All sites are assessed, individual and unique. As we learn more about each site, attending regularly, or planning for the commencement of works, safety hazards are readily identified and with our simple and streamlined OH&S management plan, work practices are readily updated to incorporate best practices immediately.
The objectives of our OH&S:
1. To achieve an accident free workplace.
2. To make health and safety an integral part of every managerial and supervisory position.
3. To ensure health and safety is considered in all planning and work activities.
4. To involve our employees in the decision making processes through regular communication, consultation and training.
5. To provide continuous education and learning to ensure that our sub-contractors work in the safest possible manner.
6. To identify and control all potential accident/incidents are controlled and prevented.
7. To ensure all sub-contractors take reasonable care to protect their own health and safety by complying with endorsed safe work procedures and other OH&S requirements.
The successes of our health and safety management is dependent on:
1. Pro-active planning of all work activities with due consideration given to implementing OH&S controls that are suitable to each given situation.
2. Understanding the total work processes and associated OHS risks.
3. Ensuring the work team is totally committed to achieving our objectives.
4. Ensuring that open and honest communication exists between management and our sub-contractors.
Insurances and Workcover
As a registered Australian Business, Fix24 Commercial Pty Ltd is fully licensed and insured with $20M Public Liability and Workers Compensation. All documentation is provided upon commencement of works.
Our Quality Assurance
Fix24’s Quality assurance system is designed to conform to the Australian Standard AS/NZS ISO 9001; 2008 – Quality Management Systems.In addition to full accreditation and compliance with authorities such as Greencap CM3, Queensland Building & Construction Commission (QBCC), Victorian Building Authority (VBA)
